The appearance will give a reminder of the importance of nature and its elements. A monument where all cultures are welcome. Where sustainable modern, but also forgotten technologies come together and are tested.
Ivy grows on the outside and water flows around it with fish and purifying plants. The rainwater is collected here. There are torches and the wind is used by beautifully designed windmills. The walls are made of clay in natural shapes and decorated with beautiful (precious) stones, wood, metal and (sometimes colored) glass. As many natural shapes, structures and materials as possible. Smooth, wavy, rough, but also symmetry.
As you enter, bionic architecture is connected to real nature. Lots of round natural shapes and indirect LED lighting where necessary. The windows are all different, there are natural transitions in colors and shapes. Plants, ivy and lamps decorated with air-purifying algae hang on the walls. Everything up to and including the doorknobs has the shape of, for example, a branch, leaf, animal or element.
Gaïa will give an Efteling feeling but with real nature, so that we are reminded of what is important, enjoy and collaborate with our nature.
